Why Does The Constitution Party Exist?
The Constitution has no power of its own. It is not a living being. It requires living, moral minded people to be the ones to prevent the subversion, and the goal of the Constitution Party is to find those principled people (such as yourself) who will gather together, unified for the cause, and put forth the people from within itself, to run and ‘win’ a campaign to hold Public Office, which would then allow for the preservation and protection of Constitutional Law Abiding Governance to occur.
When Morally Principled people are in the daily operations of government, then Governance is done Correctly, as the founders envisioned it to be. Our membership is to be made up of the best that society has to offer, & as such; we are the very best equipped, level headed political party to combat the corrupting evils that come out of the Establishment ‘Duopoly’ system of unconstitutional governance.
One of the foremost constitutional theorists of the founding generation, John Adams, observed, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” He wasn’t the only Founding Father to hold this view. Indeed, James Madison wrote that our Constitution requires “sufficient virtue among men for self-government,” otherwise, “nothing less than the chains of despotism can restrain them from destroying and devouring one another.”

This is ENTIRELY the reason and purpose behind the founding of the U.S. Taxpayers Party by Howard Phillips in around 1991, which years later, became the Constitution Party. He saw that the Republican Party had lost its way, and no longer adhered to its founding principles, and set about; determined to create an alternative that could rise up in its place. Here is what he said:
“I had to define and articulate a vision of victory. So I had to spend a lot of time thinking about what victory in political terms meant. And in a nutshell, I concluded that it meant Biblical justice, biblical jurisprudence — a return to the working understanding that we live under God’s law, that He is sovereign, that He is our Creator, and that we are one nation under God, a nation which must live by the rules that He makes.”
Very simply; When Moral People are in the business of government, you will have [in it’s entirety] a government of, by, and for the people, and not of, by and for ITSELF, which is what we mostly now have. The literal reality of the times we live in, is that government is now a separate entity outside of ourselves, in charge over us, instead of ‘We The People’ actually BEING the government, and in charge of it, for our own purposes, and not the purposes of an elite group or entity above us, which is (horrifyingly) exactly how government currently exists.
The ‘Political Winds’ continually blow back and forth, in a seemingly endless struggle of Left Wing and Right Wing Politics, always at battle with one another, for power and control over us, while we watch, and be manipulated by the forces of political parties that have their specific agendas that run contrary to what the majority of people want, but nonetheless always seem to get their way, through the ‘Brainwashing’ of society via power, money, and control over every aspect of life. ….. Tick Tock, Tick Tock, goes the Grandfather Clock, as the pendulum swings from left to right, then right to left, in an endless war of which side will own, and thus; control us in every aspect of our lives, from cradle to grave.
Humans are not perfect. In order to be perfect, you would have to literally be God. But if we gather the best of those that society has to offer, and put them into an organized manner of being unified to a specific set of goals to achieve; then great things Can and Shall Occur. THAT, ultimately, is the mission of the Constitution Party.
